| Every family that participates in the North Fork
Vision Home and Community Program (HCP) will work with a Resource
Consultant (RC). RC’s act as an advocate for learners and families, set
their own schedule for meeting with learners and responsibly keep that
schedule, facilitates the creation of documentation that meets program
expectations and accurately reflects the scope of the learner’s
educational goals and progress, provides access to or information about
resources that will benefit the learner and generally act as a liaison
between the learner, the VHCP, and the district requirements. |
| The educators are independent contractors that
can provide tutoring or hold a class for learners to attend. They must
have a background check before the North Fork Vision HCP will agree to
advertise their name and services in the Educator Directory. |
